Story
Kitty Belle’s Fund has been created to raise money for pioneering neuroblastoma research and pastoral support for children accessing treatment in memory of beautiful Kitty, the most kind hearted little girl.
On 1st August, I will be attempting my next challenge for Kitty Belle’s fund. This will consist of 14 half marathons, on 14 consecutive days, in 14 different towns / villages. Once completed, these towns will spell out Kitty Warburton.
My cousin Kitty was first diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer called Neuroblastoma, in February 2020. Kitty enjoyed life to the max, but sadly only for a short period of time, passing away at the very early age of 9. Kitty would have celebrated her 14th birthday this year, making this challenge even more moving.
I will be documenting my progress through the 2 weeks, so you can keep up to date with how I’m getting on (how much my legs are burning). If you would like to support this wonderful charity, any donations, shares, likes or comments would be gratefully received, so no other family has to endure the pain of losing a child like Kitty.
