I’m delighted to be running the 2025 Great South Run and abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower in support of the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC)!

When I was medically discharged from the Royal Marines, military charities stepped in to help me move into my first civilian accommodation back in 2012. Now, through this incredible event, I have the chance to give back—to raise funds for a cause that has not only supported me over the years but continues to support sailors, marines, and their families for life.

As many of you know, I’ve come full circle and now work for the RNRMC. So, as a former Royal Marines Commando and current employee of the Charity, I feel I’ve got to do a little more than just run the race or do an abseil 😯

So, on 19 October 2025—almost 17 years to the day since being injured in Afghanistan—I’ll be digging out my boots and kit and speed marching the 10-mile course as well as making my way down the UK's tallest viewing platform on 5 July!
