Story
After finding out Frazer had a stage 3 Ependymoma tumour (cancer) our world was turned upside down. He successfully had 99% removed but it is still a very long and scary road with a whole lot of uncertainty. The next stage is for Frazer to have 6 weeks radiotherapy in Manchester, at the end of this treatment is when I plan to shave my head. To show Frazer how brave he has been taking on everything that has been thrown at him and remaining so positive. Young lives vs cancer was the first Charity to reach out and not only offer emotional support but some financial support also this has really helped. That’s why I would like to fundraise for them to help other families that receive this devastating news.
When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.
At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you.
