We’re running the Great Manchester Run – raising money for Joel’s charity, UK-Med.

UK-Med is a UK based INGO which provides expert healthcare to the people who need it most around the world.

The charity has been there to help in areas of conflict – such as Gaza and Ukraine, as well as providing humanitarian response to disasters like the hurricane in Jamaica.

In 2025 UK-Med helped over half a million people, and are all set to do it again this year - wherever and whenever needed, they will answer the call.

We are hoping to raise £300 to help support UK-Med.

Neither of us have run more than a couple of miles in years, so this is going to be a particularly difficult challenge while juggling two little boys (especially those sleepless nights with baby Frankie!), but UK-Med is totally worth the effort.

On this page we will post updates of our training, so do keep an eye out for pictures and progress!
