With Ride London being cancelled I have now got a place on the Dragon ride in June, same distance more climbing.
Having not thrown a leg over a bike in over 2 years I'll be throwing myself into a world of pain and training to get up to the 100 mile mark, add to that some Welsh mountains and it really becomes a challenge.
I've decided to once again raise money for a local charity that I've supported before on my Iron-man challenge in 2014 and John O'Groats to Lands End ride in 2018.
Coventry Cyrenians help people in Coventry and Warwickshire who are homeless, or at risk of being so.
As a charity, we’re proud to provide more supported housing for single homeless people than any other local agency – but that’s only part of the story. We work to empower those we support to live as independently as possible, by enabling them to rebuild their lives and helping them deal with the rising cost of living. We are “more than a roof”.
