Joe Partridge is raising money for Hft
Amazing students from the University of Nottingham will be taking on the Athens Marathon on the 8th November 2025 in aid of Hft. Your support makes an incredible difference to help transform the lives of learning disabled adults.

Story

I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to run the Athens Marathon in November 2025. When I found out about the challenge, I had barely ran in my life and I would have had absolutely no hope of crossing that finish line. But the opportunity to push myself to such an immense challenge was too good to turn down - not only was it a huge personal goal, it was the opportunity to fundraise for a great cause.

People with learning disabilities can face challenges while navigating daily life. Overcoming these challenges demands admirable resilience and strength; This is one of the reasons that I decided to accept the challenge, and it is something that continues to motivate me throughout my training.

Hft provides essential services, supported living and advocacy for people with learning disabilities across England and Wales, with the goal of enabling everyone to enjoy the satisfying, fulfilling and joyful life that they deserve.

If you find this cause is important as I do, please feel free to donate. Any amount is appreciated, and goes a long way.
