Story
On 27th September, I’ll be taking on the incredible challenge of running the Berlin Marathon in support of Dementia UK.
This is much more than a race for me. My mum was diagnosed with dementia at just 63 years old, turning our family’s world upside down far sooner than we ever imagined. Watching someone you love slowly change because of this devastating illness is heartbreaking, and it’s a journey no family should have to face alone.
I’m running to raise money for Dementia UK, whose specialist Admiral Nurses provide expert advice and compassionate support to families living with dementia when they need it most.
Every mile I run is for my mum, and for the thousands of other families facing the same challenges every day.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, you’ll be helping Dementia UK continue their vital work. If you can’t donate, sharing this page or cheering me on means just as much.
Thank you so much for your support. It really does make a difference.
