Each year more than 4,000 West Australian babies are admitted to Neonatal Units, many of them fighting for life.

This time last year, that was Joey. He was born 10 weeks early, weighing a tiny 1.16kg. He spent 9 weeks at King Edward Memorial Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Michael and I will never forget that time in our lives. Happily, Joey is a thriving, smiley little boy now- soon to be 1! He continues to blow us away with his strength and spirit.
