Group of 4 cycling from John O'Groats to Land's End · 1 September 2024

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Ric Thornhill, Lawrence Summers, Tom Stockwell and Richard Stockwell are riding together from John O'Groats to Land's End (JOGLE) between 1st - 13th September 2024. We will be covering approximately 1,000 miles over 13 days and, with your support, raising money for our chosen charity - Parkinson's UK (PUK).

The charity has a diverse and positive approach supporting Parkinson's sufferers and their carers, as well as investing in medical research for treatments and ultimately a cure.

One of the team, Richard, was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2021, aged 51. Since his diagnosis Richard has received wonderful support from PUK.

Please take a look at our website www.jogle4parkinsons.co.uk where you will find further information about the team, the route, the charity and Parkinson's.

We hope to raise as much as possible in donations. If you are a company please have a look at our website where we have a variety of sponsorship options that you might like to opt for.

Please be as generous as you can with your donations - and thank you for support.
