Story
My name is Johan Mariyathas, and I am taking on a sponsored 3.7-mile run to raise awareness of the daily journey many in developing countries go through to collect water. This run is dedicated to supporting WaterAid, which is an organisation working to provide clean water, sanitation and hygiene resources to struggling communities. Your support will not only fuel my run but contributes immensely to breaking the cycle of long walks for water, ensuring that everyone, regardless of location, has access to this vital resource. Join me and WaterAid in making a difference.
WaterAid is an international not-for-profit, determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation. Only by tackling these three essentials in ways that last can people change their lives for good.
Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene should be a normal part of everyone’s daily life. Without all three, people can’t live dignified, healthy lives. With all three, they can unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good.
