John Anderson is raising money for Burton HOPE
Story
Burton HOPE is a great cause and very close to my heart. I am Chairman of the charity which assists homeless people, people that struggle financially and supports people in many ways. Matt Long has recently started volunteering for Burton HOPE too.
We at Burton HOPE partnered with Burton BMA last year where Matt is an accomplished boxer and boxing tutor. This event seals the relationship between Burton BMA and Burton HOPE. I am not an accomplished boxer, in fact I'm not a boxer at all! Burton BMA Lead Coach Zoltan Titan and the club members have been very supportive in training me to fight Matt. It will be a genuine live boxing match and after we fight, Matt and I will remain firm friends in true boxing tradition.
The funds raised will help to pay for our services at Burton HOPE. We have rent to pay, our food bill for the food bank is ever increasing. We want to continue to provide a great service to the people of Burton on Trent and beyond.
