Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Cancer has been a big part of my life and now so is dancing! For the second time I am taking to the Strictly stage to raise money for the well deserving Beatson Cancer Charity!
When I moved to Scotland the follow up for my brain tumour also needed to move. The Beatson is doing amazing work in helping people with cancer throughout all steps of their journey. Also, as a pathologist I also get to see the work The Beatson does behind the scenes in supporting research in to cancer. The Beatson rely on fundraising to continually improve and finance the services they provide to those living with cancer
I am not doing this alone. I am dancing with a great group of people: Tracey, Alison, Dwayne, Blythe, and Rashid along with our professional dancers Donna and Marcus. Together we are the Mixed Up Mambos. We've all come from different backgrounds are joining forces to Samba, Cha-Cha, and Jive our way round the dance floor all in aid of Strictly Beatson 2026.
We are performing against 5 other teams for the Glitterheart Trophy on Saturday 10th October!
Please donate whatever you're able to, no matter how small, and know that any donation you make goes towards making a difference to cancer patients and the treatments that the Beatson are able to provide them.
Thanks!
