I am taking on this challenge in support of Anna’s Song, a charity created in memory of Anna Beaumont a vibrant, compassionate and beautiful 13-year-old girl with an infectious love for life. Anna had a deep passion for baking and singing, and her enthusiasm touched everyone who knew her. Following Anna’s death, her parents, Liz and Pete, established Anna’s Song to honour her memory and to create opportunities for other talented young singers to follow their dreams.

This cause is deeply personal to me as I have my own past experiences that strongly relates and is a big part of what drives me to do this.

Although I haven’t undertaken a major endurance event for many years, committing to the Virtual London Marathon My way, it represents a personal journey of resilience, reflection and determination, while raising vital funds and awareness for a charity that supports young talent and keeps Anna’s legacy alive.
