I'll be supporting my partner Ali, the Event Logistics Manager for the Mighty Hikes(!!!) to complete a half marathon hike along the Northumberland Coast. Ali will be taking on the full marathon the day before this half marathon, so I'll be there to support her through the aches and pains of doing another 13 miles after a gruelling 27 less than 24 hours prior!

Ali's Mum, Steph, is also doing the hike, and thanks to the support of Macmillan, was able to overcome a recent cancer diagnosis. So, raising money for the charity that helped her so much seems like a good thing to do.

I have pledged to raise £250 and would appreciate any support in reaching this. Some of you may be aware that my left ankle doesn't work so good, so it is bound to be a challenge even if the fitness is up for it. Anything - even £1.00, will be hugely appreciated.
