In June 2026, I’ll take on my 7th Big Battlefield Bike Ride — a journey that’s part challenge, part tribute, and deeply personal.

We’ll begin in Ypres, where the haunting sound of the Last Post at the Menin Gate reminds us why we ride. From there, we’ll cycle through the historic landscapes of the Somme — Lille, Cambrai, Amiens — tracing the footsteps of those who served, and stopping at memorials that still echo with their stories.

This year, I ride in honour of my Great Grandfather, who served throughout WWI, and my Father-in-Law’s Uncles, who gave their lives in Arras.

Our final stop: Thiepval. A place of remembrance, reflection, and resilience — where we’ll gather to pay tribute.

This isn’t just a bike ride. It’s a journey through history. It’s a ride to remember.
