Royal Parks Half Marathon 2023 · 8 October 2023 ·

We are a children's cancer charity funding research into finding more targeted and less harsh treatments for rhabdomyosarcoma. We support the children and families impacted by the disease. Working in conjunction with the Institute of Cancer Research and Great Ormond Street Hospital to achieve this.

Story

I am running the 2023 Royal Parks Half Marathon and raising money for Alice's Arc. This is a cause that is personally very important to me and the charity has significance for a friend Ben.

Ben's Story:

In 2018, Ben’s 3 years old son Gaspard was diagnosed with stage 3 rhabdomyosarcoma cancer. He went through 6 months chemotherapy treatment including a 2 months of daily radiotherapy in Florida. He then received an additional 12 months maintenance chemotherapy treatment. Gaspard is now a fine young boy with very few little secondary effect. He is living a normal life and enjoying every day.

This is why I find important to support Alice’s Arc, a registered Charity raising funds and awareness for rhabdomyosarcoma Cancer. Alice’s Arc is a community of families, scientists and doctors coming together to defeat rhabdomyosarcoma. Alice’s Arc is dedicated to finding a cure and kinder, more targeted treatments for those affected by the childhood cancer, rhabdomyosarcoma.
