Story
500km. Unsupported. Alone. 24hrs.
I’m taking on a 500km cycle — no support car, no team, just me and the road — to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s and dementia.
This ride isn’t meant to be easy. It’s meant to reflect something much deeper:
The confusion.
The isolation.
The quiet battles people fight when memories fade and faces become unfamiliar.
Dementia doesn’t just steal memories — it can steal connection, independence, and the feeling of not being alone in the world. Riding solo is my way of showing how lonely that journey can feel for so many.
Every kilometre is for the people who feel forgotten.
Every mile is for the families who keep showing up.
Every push of the pedal is for awareness, compassion, and hope.
