I chair the Epilepsy Research Institute grant-giving committee. Our mission is to radically advance research that not only deepens our understanding of epilepsy but also paves the way for groundbreaking treatments and prevention strategies. We need more funds to be able to support high-quality research.

I completed the London to Brighton Cycle Ride on September 14, 2025, in wind and rain in just over 5 hours.

I set an ambitious target of raising £5,000 to support our vital work. Join us in this mission—every pound raised brings us closer to radical advancements in epilepsy research.

I have worked for the NHS for 46 years, and rode the bike I bought with my first paycheck as a Junior Doctor in Oxford!
