Beckenham Rugby Club has been at the heart of our community for generations — a place where players of all ages develop skills, friendships, confidence, and a lifelong love of sport. From our thriving minis and juniors section to senior rugby, women’s rugby, touch rugby and community programmes, the club continues to grow year after year.

To support this growth and secure the long-term future of rugby in Beckenham, we are launching a major fundraising initiative to deliver critical infrastructure improvements that will take our facilities to the next level.

Our Goal: Sustainable, Extended Hours Rugby

Increasing participation and changing weather patterns are placing unprecedented pressure on our pitches. Without investment, playing time becomes limited, training opportunities are reduced, and fixture cancellations become more common.

We are raising funds to deliver three transformational upgrades:

A Borehole & Modern Irrigation System

Providing a sustainable water source to maintain safe, high-quality playing surfaces throughout the year while reducing environmental impact and long-term costs.

Upgraded Floodlights on Pitch 1

Improving visibility, safety and energy efficiency to support evening training, competitive fixtures and community use.

New Fixed Floodlights on Pitch 3

Expanding our capacity so all teams and sections can access the pitches all year round and more capacity in the winter months as well as the opportunity to host more matches under lights!
