I have been a member of Tyne Amateur Rowing Club http://www.tynerowingclub.org/ for many years, am still rowing at 80 and now chair the Trustees. The club is working hard to include the community in the sport of rowing, particularly young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, as well encouraging members of all ages to compete in regattas locally and nationally
