In September 2026, I am taking part in a charity bike ride, bringing together 60 riders made up of Straumann staff and valued customers for an unforgettable challenge cycling 500 miles in 5 days.

The ride will begin at Straumann Group's global head office in Basel, before heading out on a spectacular route through some of Europe's most iconic landscapes. Riders will cycle through the picturesque Vosges National Park, the Alsace Wine Region and the legendary Black Forest. There will be a 2.5KM vertical gain every day.

This will be my 4th ride in support of this charity.

Funds raise from this year's ride will support Dentaid's work across the UK, with a particular focus on providing dental care for vulnerable women and families affected by violence and abuse. Access to dental care can be life-changing, restoring not only oral health but dignity, confidence and well being.

Preetee and I have worked in the mobile dental unit before. If I achieve my target I commit to giving up time to work in the van again. The van is not exactly No8 but Preetee and I can bring some No8 to the van.

Each rider has committed to raising £1500 to support Dentaid's essential and compassionate work. Every donation, big or small, will make a difference and help Dentaid reach those who need care the most.
