The Worcestershire Way · 21 April 2023

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.

Sadly a member of our staff suffered a stroke prior to Christmas and we have seen the devastating effect this can have. We would like to help raise money so that they can continue to re-build lives and support families after a stroke, as well as supporting the Stroke Association with their ongoing research.

To raise money we will be walking the Worcestershire Way, a 31 mile walk starting in Bewdley and ending in Great Malvern. It is by no means an easy walk and will include approximately 5463ft of elevation.
