It’s challenge time!

On Thursday, myself and a number of my fellow Councillors will be taking on a charity chomp challenge to support local group ‘Clothed in Love’ and I would appreciate if you would kindly sponsor me.

Clothed in Love are part of the Mossvale Church Charity and do incredible work helping the most vulnerable families in our communities with clothing and many other items.

We’ll be expected to eat five different, shall we say ‘interesting’ dishes, and all money raised will go to Clothed in Love.

Be assured though, this is a challenge and I won’t get off scot-free, these foods won’t be your normal everyday foods and to add an even bigger surprise, we actually don’t know what we’ll be eating until we turn up.

A little goes a long way in helping ‘Clothed in Love’ and just £10 can provide an essential toiletries pack for some of our most vulnerable families here in Renfrewshire.

The event will take place from 5pm in the council chambers on Thursday 17 August and will be covered live here on Facebook.
