I am cycling over 300 miles from London to Paris with 3 friends from Wednesday 19th June to Saturday 23rd June to raise money in memory of George Thompson. We met George's Mum and Dad at antenatal classes, all with our first kids yet to be born. Parents and many more kids later, have stayed in touch for 20 years. Very sadly, George took his own life in 2021, and Mentell, a mens mental health charity, has provided support to George's dad, Dave. Mentell provides mental health support for men aged 18+. Its weekly talking circles offer men a safe and confidential space to talk, free from advice and judgement.
