On the 12th of May 2023 my mum sadly passed away, she worked for the Newham home treatment team for most of her career, who provide treatment to people who are experiencing a mental health emergency. This was not only a massive loss to me but to her friends, colleagues and service users.

I want to raise money for the trust in memory of my mum by running the London Landmarks Half Marathon, the charity kindly gave me one of their charity places in order to do so.

My mum put her heart and soul into her job and had many memories and stories over her time working at the trust.
