Story

This is in memory of John Henson who died on 12 September 2023.

John was very committed to the Palestine Justice work of the Amos Trust (https://www.amostrust.org/palestine-justice/) and he and Jane spent two years living in East Jerusalem.

Since 2011, through the Amos Trust, John helped to rebuild seven houses which had been demolished by the Israeli authorities, as acts of solidarity with the Palestinian families. He was trained in non-violence and was working alongside Palestinian builders and the Holy Land Trust (https://www.holylandtrust.org/our-work/nonviolent-activism).

His family are asking for donations in his memory to be made to the Amos Trust, to support their ongoing house rebuilding work.
