having been diagnosed with Parkinson’s I’m keen on raising money for Parkinson’s UK.

Parkinson’s affects everyone slightly differently. We all know about the tremors but it can affect one side of body or both or even just one leg. For me it’s left arm and left leg.

In the last 6 months my left leg is showing more of the symptoms than my left arm which has a tremor.

Because of this I have trouble walking and am very wobbly. Walking is not a natural movement for me any more and each step has to be thought about

Around the city is approx 22 miles so far the most I have managed is 4 miles before being physically and mentally exhausted

I was planning to asked for sponsorship for each mile but I would rather you give what you can and I’ll walk as far as I can.

Money raised goes directly the Parkinson’s UK for research to find a cure for the progressive disease
