East Lancashire Hospice provides specialist, supportive and end of life care for patients and their families from Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and Ribble Valley who are coping with a life-limiting illness. To enable us to continue this work, we need to raise £4 million every year.

Story

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John "Jack" Turner on 21st July 2025. Jack was a kind, generous, and thoughtful man - known for his big heart, quick wit, and quiet strength. He was always the first to lend a hand, share a laugh, or offer support when it was needed most.

In lieu of flowers, we are raising funds for The East Lancashire Hospice - a cause Jack believed in and supported himself. Though he never made it there himself, we know he would be truly proud to see donations made in his name, helping others receive the care and dignity he wished for all.

Thank you for your love, your kindness, and your support as we celebrate and honour Jack’s memory.
