Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

I am doing this ride to remember my dad (him in the photo) who died last year due to complications arising from Parkinsons. He was a very keen motorcyclist, particularly little bikes and mopeds and did the northern half of this ride in 2005 before he got sick. Now I’m going to do the whole 2000 mile circular ride with my sons and wife to pass on some of his passion and raise some money for this great cause.

Plan is something like:

21st June leave York for just north of Edinburgh

22nd to John O’Groats and west a bit towards Tongue

23rd down to Glen Coe

24th onwards to Lancaster

25th Weston-super-mare via some family stops in Lancashire

26th Lands End and onwards to Porthleven.

27th up to Oxford

28th back home
