Story
2025km for CALM
Those who know me well will know that I’ve had my share of struggles with mental health. The past year has been pretty challenging, but I’m incredibly lucky to have a few amazing people who’ve always looked out for me.
I haven’t shared much about this fundraiser until now. Back in February, I got injured and fell way behind my target. Honestly, I was scared it had become unachievable. But after 4 consecutive months of running over 200km, I’ve finally crossed the hit the final quarter of the challenge with just under three months left.
With the Porto Marathon a landmark even in November I hope that I can a rotal of 2025km in 2025 for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) a charity that means the world to me. More than a decade ago, I made a call to CALM that I truly believe saved my life. I’ll never stop praising the work they do, because they save lives, including mine.
This is a big goal, but I’d love to raise £2025 for them. Every step I take is for those who are struggling, for those who feel alone, and for those who need to know that help is out there.
If you can spare anything at all, please consider donating. Your support means the world — not just to me, but to so many others who need CALM’s help.
