I lost my mum on 23rd January 2025 to a Grade 4 glioblastoma, following an incredibly short and brave four‑month fight from diagnosis. Our lives were turned upside down in a matter of weeks, and like so many families affected by brain tumours, we were left heartbroken and searching for answers.

In July 2025, I completed 309 holes of golf, raising over £2,500 in her memory. The support and generosity shown meant more to me than I can put into words—and it pushed me to take on an even tougher challenge.

This time, I’m attempting 72 holes of golf in just one day.

It will likely mean a 5am start (possibly 4.30am), long hours on my feet, physical exhaustion, and quite possibly a mental breakdown along the way—but every hole will be worth it. This challenge is nothing compared to what my mum went through, and if it helps raise awareness, fund research, and support families facing the same devastating diagnosis, then it’s worth every step.

The challenge is this Friday 12th June2026, for everyone affected by brain tumours.
