Story
*🏃♂️ Hi everyone!
This June, I’m hitting the big 4-5, and instead of embracing a classic midlife crisis—sports car, questionable fashion choices, or extreme hobbies—I’ve decided to channel it into something meaningful (and mildly painful)… running the Swindon Half Marathon ( 13.1 miles) on 28th September 2025!🏅
I’m taking on this challenge in support of The Roxi Foundation.
The Roxi Foundation is dedicated to supporting children and families impacted by autism and ADHD, empowering them through community events, advocacy & grants for private assessments. Focused on promoting understanding and acceptance, we provide resources, education, and inclusive activities tailored to create a supportive environment. Our initiatives aim to build connections, raise awareness, and champion the unique needs of neurodiverse individuals. Through outreach and partnerships, The Roxi Foundation champions awareness, inspires hope, and creates lasting, positive change within the community
It will also pay for another assessment for someone that has being waiting for upto 3 years on the NHS waiting list.
Now, let’s be real—I’m not a natural-born runner. In fact, this journey starts with Couch to Half Marathon (yes, literally!). I’ll be sharing weekly training updates and social posts, so whether you want to follow the triumphs or the inevitable struggles, you’re in for a ride.
Every step, every mile, every aching muscle—it’s all for The Roxi Foundation and the amazing people they support. But I need your help — any donation, big or small, will make a difference! Let’s do this together! 💙
Thank you for your encouragement and support—I truly appreciate it! Now, let’s hit the ground running! 🏃♂️🔥
