On July 20th I will be climbing Scafell Pike in the Lake District - to raise money for Action for Children a child poverty charity which is my wife Jill Murray’s CIH Preisdential appeal.

All of us taking part are committing to raise as much as we individually can for this worthwhile cause.

Jill and I kickstarted the fundraising at our wedding last year when we asked for donations instead of wedding presents. Our guests were incredibly generous.

Action for Children do great work with disadvantaged children across the UK.

Any amount you can pledge in support of my climbing a hill will help to make a real difference to a real person’s life.
