I'm thrilled to share some exciting news with you – I've decided to take on the challenge of running the London Marathon for the very first time! It's a dream come true, and I can't wait to experience the thrill of this iconic event.

As I prepare for this incredible challenge, I've decided to run for Wessex Cancer Support, an organization making a significant impact in the lives of those affected by cancer.

Cancer touches the lives of many, and my goal is to contribute to the amazing work that Wessex Cancer Support does. Some of you may remember me as a bit of an athlete back in my day, and now I'm eager to see if I've still got what it takes.

One in two of us will get cancer in our lifetime. Wessex Cancer Support is a charity which relies on donations to provide free and local support to anyone affected by cancer, away from hospital.

Every person receives tailored support that best suits their needs. This ranges from counselling to transport which helps patients travelling from the Isle of Wight and Channel Islands get to their hospital appointments.

While my initial plan was to run the marathon before turning 40, life had its own timeline. Nevertheless, I am more determined than ever to make a positive impact through this experience.

Your support would mean the world to me, as together, we can make a difference in the lives of those dealing with the effects of cancer. Any contribution, big or small, will go a long way in supporting Wessex Cancer Support and the vital services they provide.

Your generosity will not only serve as motivation during my training but, more importantly, will directly contribute to helping those affected by cancer.
