Story
I am taking part in the BIG LIFE AFTER LARY dog walk starting on 1 August 2026, walking with my dog Fletcher to raise funds and awareness for the incredible cause of Life After Lary. Since undergoing chemotherapy, I have been living with neuropathy that causes numbness in my legs, feet, and hands. This has made walking a challenge, and I now rely on a stick or sometimes two, as well as a mobility scooter and wheelchair.
Despite these challenges, I am determined to keep moving forward. This walk is not just about raising money; it is about reclaiming my strength and mental well-being by encouraging myself to get out more often. My ability to walk is deteriorating quickly, but I want to make every step count, for myself and for the charity that supports so many on their own journeys.
I am aiming to raise £500 to support Life After Lary’s vital work. Your support will help me stay motivated on this long road to recovery and contribute to a cause that means so much. Please join me in making a difference by donating today, together we can inspire hope and resilience.
