Story
I am taking part in SUDEP Action's 30 for 30 challenge this September to celebrate 30 years of SUDEP Action and to remember our Katie who died through SUDEP in February 2024.
Too many young people, and it mostly is young people, are dying from SUDEP. 'Sudden' and 'Unexplained' in the context of the death of a loved one only really hint at the impact on those they leave behind but those words also imply how little is really known about epilepsy and its causes.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of SUDEP Action—a milestone made possible only through the kindness and generosity of supporters like you. For three decades, they have been working to prevent epilepsy-related deaths and support those bereaved by epilepsy, and your donation helps ensure that they can continue this work for another 30 years and beyond.
