In Loving Memory of James Rickett

I’m John, James’s twin brother. We were born 20 minutes apart, and from that moment on, we shared a bond that shaped every part of my life.

James was so many things: a fiercely proud dad to sons Alex & Theo, a devoted husband to Lisa, a dedicated Lancer and the best kind of brother to his five siblings. He had a hilarious, dry sense of humour, a balance of banter and charm, and had a way of bringing people together, in laughter, in service, or on the golf course.

In recent months, James showed incredible bravery, strength and courage through the toughest of times. And in his final days, the team at Bassetlaw Hospice gave him and his family a place of peace and compassion.
