In July 2025, I have challenged myself to take on the Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.

My sister Julie has been raising money through a series of charitable walks for a few years now and my sister Shirley and I have decided to join her this year.

We all know someone who has been affected by cancer. As our family has been impacted, we have witnessed not only the care and commitment of the stars of the NHS but also the charities which work alongside them.

Macmillan Nurses support those living with cancer and their families. Each £250 pledged can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide essential medical, practical and emotional support.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you and me.
