The geopolitical landscape is shifting, and Europe can no longer rely our powerful friend to safeguard our region - the responsibility is now on us to ensure the freedom and liberties of future generations. War is on our doorstep, and we must support and enhance the continued resolve of the Ukrainian people to retain their democracy and sovereignty over their land.

Pickups For Peace (P4P) has worked alongside its growing team of over 1000 volunteer drivers to deliver to Ukraine more than 642 4x4 vehicles and £5.5 million in life saving aid. I cannot stress more strongly the importance of this charity and what it is achieving – it is saving lives.

I will be shortly setting off on my 3rd convoy, this time accompanied by my partner, Karoline, as co-driver. We will cover the purchase of the 4x4 and all the travel costs ourselves including hotels/food/petrol and return flights. Everything raised through your kind and generous support will go buy medical supplies and equipment; we aim to travel with a full load!

No donation can be too little - nor of course too large! Some of you will have been asked to help on previous convoys. We fully understand if you have donation fatigue or have contributed to John’s previous trips.
