Story
My favourite race of the year is the Great Eastern Run, and one of my most beloved charities is Anna's Hope. This two together means a very emotional run around Peterborough, as the support is electric, whilst dressed in some fairy magic for the amazing Anna's Hope chairty.
Anna's Hope is a leading children's brain tumour charity in the East of England. We are committed to giving hope to children and young people diagnosed with a brain tumour.
The charity is inspired by Anna Olivia Hughes, who tragically died from a brain tumour aged only three years and eight months old. It was set up by Anna's parents Rob and Carole Hughes, along with her five Godparents in October 2006.
Anna's Hope is run by a small hard working group of volunteers so that Almost Every penny donated goes to helping children with a brain tumour.
