Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’m embarking on a challenging journey to complete 6 half marathons in 6 months, all to raise funds for the incredible charity, Horatio's Garden. This organization creates beautiful gardens next to spinal rehabilitation units across the country, providing a vital sanctuary for those facing life-changing injuries.

Last year, a close friend of my son suffered a devastating spinal injury while traveling abroad. The garden at Llandough Hospital has been a beacon of hope and healing for him, his family, and friends. It has offered them a peaceful space to connect and find solace during such challenging times. I have witnessed firsthand how these gardens can transform lives and support recovery.

In support of this cause, I am committed to running the following half marathons: Bath, Reading, Bristol, Swansea, Cardiff, and culminating in the Royal Parks Half Marathon on October 11th, 2026. My goal is to raise £1,000 to support Horatio's Garden in their mission.

I invite you to join me in making a difference. Your generous support will help create more beautiful spaces that foster healing and hope for individuals like my son’s friend. Together, we can help others find strength in their journey towards recovery.
