I was diagnosed with penile cancer almost three years ago, it was caught very early which meant the treatment was successful.

However, my father was not so fortunate. He was diagnosed with penile cancer just months before my diagnosis and although he had surgery it was much more advanced and he died a few weeks later.

It was because of what happened to my dad that prompted me to seek medical help. The earlier the diagnosis the easier it is to treat this disease and I want to encourage awareness: get yourself checked!
