Satpal, our dear friend and colleague, was diagnosed with MND early last year.

On 20th March 2025, he passed away, just eleven days after his 50th birthday.

We will continue to support his wife, Rani, in whichever way we can, but we would also love to raise funds for the MND Association in Satpal's name, honouring such a warm, friendly and selfless person, and that wonderful smile of his.

As we're all employees of Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust - mostly from the Digital IT Team but with representation from other departments - there is the added connection of the Rob Burrow MND Centre, which is due to open at Seacroft Hospital later this year.

The MND Association focus on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
