NHS Lothian has looked after mine and my families health since I moved to Scotland in 2006. Through all the been challenges and milestones in our lives we have been supported by their excellent healthcare. But more recently, after covid changed everything for me, I took a huge leap of faith and retrained, and am proud to be an NHS Lothian Mental Health Nurse at The Royal Edinburgh Hospital. I now have the privilege of being part of this extraordinarily hard working, innovative and dedicated NHS family, and have been supported to find new strengths and follow new passions.

Retraining at midlife as a wife and mother of 2 has been an opportunity to rewrite how I saw myself and explore new versions of who I could be. It's been empowering! So in the spirit of rewriting the book of Suzie, I'm going WAAAAYYYY out of my comfort zone to raise money for the NHS Trust that has given me so much. So please support me to take this leap too!!
