Story
Join us in supporting the Multiple System Atrophy Trust, the UK and Ireland's only charity dedicated to providing specialist support to all those affected by MSA; a life-limiting neurodegenerative brain disease. We rely entirely on voluntary donations to provide our free MSA Health Care Professional service, Social Welfare Specialist Service, a telephone helpline and regional in-person and digital support groups. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those battling MSA. By participating in the Brighton Marathon 2025, we aim to raise £1,500 to fund research into both a cause and cure for MSA. Your support will bring hope and progress to those affected by this challenging disease.
A good friend of mine, Angela Wraight was diagnosed with MSA recently. I have seen her go from life loving, outgoing pub landlady to someone who needs assistance with every daily task you can think of. To see her like this is so sad. She is the inspiration for me to put in the hard work with the training schedule which will get me to the start line!
Every step we take in the marathon is a step towards better care, understanding, and ultimately finding a cure for MSA. With your help, we can achieve our fundraising goal and make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families affected by this condition. Join us on this journey of hope and healing.
Together, let's inspire change and create a brighter future for those living with Multiple System Atrophy.
