Story

I will be taking part in the 2025 London Marathon to raise money for the fantastic charity Sebastian’s action trust in memory of my beautiful daughter Juliette.

Juliette was born with cerebral palsy and had a different life to most, everyday life was difficult. After moving to Hampshire in 2015 we were able to use the services available through SAT. With the use of the SAT site Bluebells in Basingstoke Juliette was able to experience swimming and sensory play in a welcoming environment that was safe and suitable for her needs. Sebastian’s played a big part in Juliette’s life allowing her to experience things that she wouldn’t have otherwise been able to, they allowed us to create memories and offered support whenever it was needed. Sadly Juliette left this world in September 2023 at just 8 years old, Sebastian’s action trust were on hand to support, they helped with her funeral and gave her the send off she deserved. And they continue to be there for my family. To say Sebastian’s action trust is close to my heart is an understatement.

Like most charities the last few years have been challenging for Sebastian’s Action Trust and they need help to continue supporting families like they have for mine, so please dig deep and give anything you can to help this wonderful charity in the future.

Now for the running, I am a complete novice and only have a handful of 5k’s under my belt, so the London Marathon will be monumental for me. Seeing donations coming in will help me along the way and give me the motivation for training in the cold winter months, so please give whatever you can.

Help Us Make Every Moment Count!

At Sebastian’s Action Trust, we provide emotional, social, and practical care for life-limited and life-threatened children and their families.

Family Breaks at The Bluebells

Our flagship facility, The Bluebells, offers families the chance to make cherished memories in a supportive environment. Here, families can enjoy quality time together during their breaks.

We passionately believe that seriously-ill children should be able to enjoy time with their families. Our vision is to ensure lives, however short, are lived to the full.

“Sebastian’s Action Trust has given us a sanctuary where we can find solace, support, and strength during our toughest times.” – A grateful family
