Story
On Saturday, I’ll be taking on a triathlon to raise money for Pendragon Community Trust — something I never would have imagined myself doing a few months ago!
I hadn’t really exercised for around 15 years, apart from the occasional round of golf or game of cricket. Then, four months ago, I decided I wanted to challenge myself and do something to help raise money for a charity that provides such an important service.
So, with just four months of training behind me, I’m taking on a triathlon!
The reason I’m putting myself through the challenge is Pendragon Community Trust, an amazing multi-sensory centre that supports people of all ages.
There are very few centres that offer the level of specialist technology and sensory facilities available at Pendragon. Because of this, people and families travel from miles away to access the centre and the opportunities it provides.
Pendragon provides a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where people can explore sensory experiences, learn, develop, relax and enjoy time with others. For many people and their families, it offers something that simply isn’t available elsewhere.
Due to the specialist nature of the equipment and amazing facilities provided, any financial support is incredibly important and we are very grateful for your support.
If you’re able to make a donation, no matter how big or small, thank you. Every pound will help Pendragon continue the work it does.
And if you can’t donate, sharing this page would mean just as much and could help us reach more people.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for supporting me in this challenge and, most importantly, supporting Pendragon Community Trust.
Now I just need to get through the triathlon! 🏊♂️🚴♂️🏃♂️
