Story
In the heart of Lincolnshire, a dedicated team of volunteer Emergency Responders stands ready to answer the call when lives hang in the balance. "They recruit, train and equip all of their Emergency Responders so they can be there when needed the most," ensuring that from attending a cardiac arrest to performing life-saving surgery on the roadside, they are present at 999 medical emergencies every single day. Their commitment is unwavering; these heroes are based within our communities, allowing them to respond rapidly and often arriving before an ambulance 85% of the time.
As I prepare for my personal cycling challenge, riding my bike to 6 different locations and back on 6 consecutive days from June 27th to 2 July 2025 inclusive. It is my intention to cycle at least 400 miles in this personal challenge.
I am aware of the vital role these responders play in our lives. Each pedal stroke will not only take me closer to my target but also help raise funds for LIVES, a cause that ensures our communities are protected by trained professionals who can make all the difference in critical moments.
I invite you to join me in this mission. Your support can help me to reach my target of £500, enabling LIVES to continue training and equipping these remarkable individuals. Together, they can ensure that when emergencies arise, they have the resources needed to respond effectively. Let’s make a difference together!
