Story
On April 19th 2026, I will be taking on the personal challenge of running a marathon. This is something I have not done before or even want to do, so this is an incredible mental and physical challenge for me. I really don't like running, I do it for fitness occasionally but no long distance runner. I'm doing this to raise critical funds for ground breaking sepsis research. 10 years ago (March 27th 2016), I lost my dad to sepsis, and those who knew him understand the profound impact he had on my life. His sudden passing—just one night, from an infection that spiraled into pneumonia and sepsis—left a hole that I’ve carried with me ever since. In his memory, I want to raise funds for a cause that works to prevent others from experiencing the same heartbreaking loss. By supporting this charity, I hope to make a difference and raise awareness of sepsis, while also taking on a challenge that honors his legacy. Your donations will help fund research, support affected families, and contribute to the fight against this often-overlooked condition.
Thank you very much
