Story
John Bear is known by many for all of his fundraising help whether that be for guest appearances at our events or turning up at primary schools at Christmas time to help explain our Rudolph Run to everyone taking part.
John Bear is very good at explaining Wirral Hospice St John's provides specialist palliative care for adults on the Wirral. It costs up to £7million a year to run the hospice, which is at no charge to our patients. This is all thanks to the loyal support and commitment of our supporters who do so much to help raise funds for our charity's work.
John Bear is taking on a fundraising challenge of his own and he needs your help. On Friday 15th May he will be lining up to take part in the Aintree Mascot Race……
“It’s the unstoppable…..the untrainable……the slightly out of breath already….. John Bear!
John Bear, the cuddly mascot of Wirral Hospice St John’s, take his place on the Aintree Start Line on Friday 15th May. He’s known to be a little slow out of the stalls and carrying a few extra picnic baskets, this furry runner may not be the bookies favourite – but he’s certainly the crowds.
If determination counts for anything, don’t rule John Bear out in the final furlong!”
Any sponsorship would be hugely appreciated! Thank you x
